You drive the session. You can pick Libby’s brain and creative, lateral thinking skills for resources, general industry knowledge, specific challenges, and advice. If you’re up for it, Libby will challenge you and utilize her coach skills and wealth of experience to help you clarify where your blocks and most pressing challenges lie.

Copyediting
One-step service. Corrections for ‘readability’. Libby looks at choice of words, grammar, punctuation, and irons out stilted or archaic language so the text and the story are accessible to your target audience. In the case of fiction or long-form essays, she can make basic recommendations for changes to rhythm and imagery.

Substantive Editing
A two-step process. Libby looks at your text’s structure, plot, themes, coherence, internal logic, narrative voice and prose. Libby writes a report.
For long-form fiction such as novels, a third step includes a final half-hour, one-to-one session on Skype/Zoom where you can ask questions or clarify comments.
